NOTE: As of May 1, 2008 all recreation activities that were held at the PEFYA Building will be held at the house on Wilck's Lake Island. Skate Park The Farmville Skateboard Park is located at Wilck’s Lake Park on W. Third Street. The park is opened daily from dawn to dusk. All individuals using the Farmville Skateboard Park must register and receive a membership card at no cost from The Town of Farmville Recreation Department. Karate For Men, Woman And Children Looking for a great way for the family to get healthy and learn a new sport? If so, join us on Mondays at 6:30 pm at the house on Wilck's Lake Island for Karate for Men, Women and Children. To participate you must be eight (8) years or older. This program will provide instruction in self-defensive Karate. This program is provided by the Prince Edward Karate Academy and is free. Wanna Dance: Children’s Modern Dance Class Join us for professional Modern Dance instruction. Classes will be on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm until 5:00pm. There is a fee of $8.00 per month. This program is open to those that are 6 - 13 years old. This program will introduce kids to the beauty and fun of dancing and encourage dancing for fitness. Instructor: Sakina Sawtella.
