Building Permit Application- The Building Officials office can accept the request for appointments and inspections  Monday through Friday of each week. Please request inspections at least 24 hours in advance.

Demolition Permit Application & Asbestos Information

General contractors must provide a list of sub-contractors for a job, and the breakdown of the estimated job cost when submitting the building permit application. If this information is not provided at the time of submission of the building permit application this will delay the process of the permit being issued.  ALL BUILDING PERMITS ARE ISSUED INDIVIDUALLY. The Building Official's office WILL NOT issue consolidated permits!

Helpful information:
When applying for a building permit and the job is $25,000.00 or less you may bring in a copy of the current business license from the business locality. This will help in the process of the building permit and is a requirement of the Treasurer's Office. If a copy of a business license is not provided, you will be required to purchase one with the Town of Farmville.
