General Account Information

Water and sewer bills are mailed every other month. Payment in full  is due by the 20th of the odd months, (January, March, May, July, September and November).  The rate schedule is as follows:

Charge for Water or Water and Sewer

The minimum charge for water service within the town is seventeen dollars and thirty cents ($17.30) for up to and including three thousand (3,000) gallons, based on a bimonthly consumption.  The charge for sewer is computed at a rate equaling one hundred ten (110) percent of the water charge.  For example, a minimum bill (3,000 gallons or less bimonthly) would be $17.30 for water and $19.06 for sewer.  The total minimum bill would then be $36.33.

     Charge for Sewer Only

There will be a bimonthly charge of forty-four dollars ($44.00) for customers who only are connected to the town sewer living in the town of Farmville limit. For customers with a sewer only connection outside town limits the bimonthly charge is $66.00.
