Building Permits

To apply for a Building Permit visit the Building Inspectors office in the Municipal Building. Payment will then be taken to the treasurer's office.

example:	Total cost = $25,000 $25.00 + (.005)(24,000) = $145.00

Other Building Official Fees

Plan Review

Computed at one-twentieth of one (1) percent of total cost of improvement. Minimum cost is $100.00.

Demolition

Private garage or small accessory building = $25.00

Residences of all types = $50.00

Commercial or industrial building = $100.00

Erosion and Sediment Control

1. Plan review fee: $25.00 per acre of disturbed area with a $100.00 minimum and $250 maximum. This fee is payable upon submission of a site plan for review.

2. Site inspection fee: $50.00 per acre of disturbed area with a $200 minimum and $500 maximum. This fee is payable upon issuance of the grading/building permit.

3. Performance bonds: Cash bond, surety or letter of credit acceptable to the Town Treasurer the amount of which will follow the below listed criteria in order:

A. Total amount of the cost of erosion and sediment control if the contract has itemized this content, -or-

B. Ten percent of the cost of the site contract. This should include all labor and materials such as base stone for roadways, curb and gutter, storm structures, storm pipe and all structural and vegetative E & S measures. -or-

C. $1,000.00 per acre of disturbed area for projects which have no contract such as do-it-yourself projects or donated work.

Bonds payable upon issuance of grading / building permit.

Rezoning Requests

Rezoning requests are $250.00.
