Instructions for using the online GIS mapping capabilities

To find the information on a parcel of land

1.  Click the circle beside "Browse Map."

2.  Click on the square beside the layer or layers you would like to view.

3.  Click on the circle beside the "Zoom In" button if you wish to zoom in on a particular area.

4.  Enter a zoom size; I recommend using a zoom size of 25 this will give you at least one full block and parts of surrounding blocks to view.

5.  Click on the area of the map you would like to view, this will bring up a new map.

6.  To find parcel information from this new map click on the circle beside "Query feature" and click in the squares beside the layers you wish to view.

7.   Then click on the parcel you are interested in, the parcel number, owner, deed, address, zoning, ward, and acreage of the parcel will come up along with a smaller map highlighting the parcel you are viewing.
