Wilck's Lake Park Play Area

Wilck's Lake Play Area is located at Wilck's Lake right on West Third Street. The Play Area consists of a playground with many climbing and sliding opportunities, for children 10 and under, along with a large grassy field. The Farmville Prince Edward Youth Association uses this field for soccer games, but you can also make use of this field for pick-up soccer, kickball, or waffle-ball games or any other fun games you can think up. There are picnic tables so pack a snack or lunch. Two portable restrooms are available. The Skateboard Park is also located here. The playground at Wilck's Lake Play Area is currently closed. Wilck's Lake Play Area is open year-round from dawn to dusk. The playground equipment is designed for children 10 and under.

This area is free to all residents and visitors. Picnic tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Wilck's Lake

Fishing is open to the public with a valid Virginia Fishing License (contact the Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries Department). A town fishing license is not required.
